Makes approximately 1.5 liters of spritz


  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 liter sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 apple (optional; Pink Lady apples work well for this drink)


Crush the cranberries lightly with the sugar and let marinate for 30 minutes. Drain and reserve the juice. Make a tray of ice cubes with the marinated cranberries by placing a cranberry or two in each ice cube, mold and freeze. When you are ready to make your spritz, mix the apple cider, reserved juice from the cranberries and sparkling water. Add the cranberry ice cubes and serve. Add a few slices of apple as a garnish if you would like!
