serves: 4
1 Jar of Lidia's Marinara Sauce
1 pound Lidia's Spaghetti, or any other brand of spaghetti
3 large garlic cloves, sliced
1 pound medium-sized shrimp, heads removed
6 fresh basil leaves, shredded
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
Bring 4 quarts of salted water to a boil in a 6-quart pot over high heat. Cook Spaghetti according to the instructions on the box and drain well. In the meantime in a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the sliced garlic until golden. Add the cleaned shrimps to the skillet, and toss quickly for 2 minutes. Pour in one jar of Lidia’s Marinara Sauce, and bring all to a quick boil. Add the drained spaghetti to the sauce, toss well, and sprinkle with the fresh basil. Serve nice and hot.
